Hydrocarbons used as anesthetic
Used to treat adrenocortical tumor and causing syndrome.
Propellents used for inhalers cloral hydrate use as sedatives.

Aspirin is made from salicylic acid which is a hydrocarbon,asprin is used as analgesic,anti pyretic,anti inflammatory drug.
Paracetamol ,here parent compound is benzene which is hydrocarbon & used as a analgesic & antipyretic drug.
Hydrocarbons are also used as anesthetics such as halothane, propellants for inhalers, and chloral hydrate for sedation.

Hydrocarbons are the principal constituents of petroleum and natural gas. They serve as fuels and lubricants as well as raw materials for the production of plastics, fibres, rubbers, solvents, explosives, and industrial chemicals.

Halogenated hydrocarbons are used in medicine to make anaesthetics like halothane, propellants for inhalers, and sedatives like chloral hydrate. Freon and other halogenated hydrocarbons are used as refrigerants.
