Pharmaceutical Technology II combines scientific aspects that are critical in the development and manufacture of tablets, capsules, compression and coating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The purposes of learning pharmaceutical Technology 2 is to develop the ability to effectively apply knowledge of excipients, preformulation studies, biopharmaceutics & pharmacokinetics, stability evaluation in the formulation of pharmaceutical products and drug delivery systems. This course is tailored especially for the pharmaceutical industry and in each unit the theory is further exemplified with everyday scenarios. In this course we will be focusing primarily on tablet and capsule dosage forms, coating and compression procedures and discuss how good manufacturing practices are vital for the growth of any pharmaceutical industry.
