S.M. SAIFUL HAQUE hails from Feni, a district in Bangladesh. He studied at the University of Chittagong, obtaining LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. in Law. After that, he studied MSS in Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Dhaka, and then he completed Masters in Peace and Human Rights Development Studies at the Bangladesh University of Professionals. He got first class in most of these degrees. At present, he has completed his M.Phil (Part-1) and has started to write his M.Phil thesis on the Combating Software Piracy in Bangladesh Towards an Effective Copyright Protection Regime. Under the peer supervision of Dr. Ridwanul Haque, a renowned Constitutional expert, and Professor at the University of Dhaka. Mr. S.M. SAIFUL HAQUE is associated with numerous academic organizations in Bangladesh. He is a member of Dhaka Bar Association. He had written four articles in distinctive reviewed journals. He is a non-violent human right and peace activist.
