Course Objective: This introductory course aims to equip students with the very basics of literary terminology. As a whole, this is a foundation course for the students which will make them prepared to understand or study the future courses of their curriculum.   

 Course Outcomes: After completing the course, students will be able to

1.      Clarify different figures of speeches along with the basic terminologies of literature.

2.      Apply their knowledge about various genres and sub-genres of literature while reading.

3.      Compare and contrast the terms.

4.      Apply their knowledge in their creative writing.
