Introduction:

Good teaching, at its heart, reflects scholarship, personal integrity, and the ability to communicate with the students. This workshop will teach teachers to learn how to assess his/her teaching. Assessment will include collection of information about student learning using appropriate time, knowledge, expertise and resources to promote quality of teaching. 

Outcome:

1.     Outcomes (goals or objectives): What does a teacher want his/her students to learn

2.     Content (information): How well the students are achieving the goals/objectives and what measures (evidence) are affecting their           learning

3.     Action: How can a teacher use the assessment information to improve student learning
