    Course Objective:  

    This course aims to assist students to develop and understand the workplace situation, circumstance, knowledge and  managing work without conflict. It will also make them understand office policies and organisational behaviour. To make students more effective  and fit to the workplace. 

    Emotional behaviour is one of the vital issues for fresh graduates, So the course will help them to differentiate constructive and destructive responses. 

             Conflict management is the process of limiting the negative aspects of conflict while increasing the positive aspects of conflict. The aim of conflict management is to enhance learning and group outcomes, including effectiveness or performance in an organisational setting.

              To introduce practical conflict with resolution techniques and strategies, Ideally the conflict management course provides previous  off job training , skills and knowledge for effective performance. 


    Course Outcome

             

            On completion of this course Students will be able to learn; trecognise the nature of conflict and its impact on  relationships in organization, also will demonstrate the role of communication, responsibilities. 

            The course will synthesise and effectively utilize and apply conflict intervention strategies such as coaching, negotiation, mediation, and system design in the management and resolution of conflict.

             It will integrate and appropriately apply a broad range of theoretical concepts, processes and methodologies in analyzing, managing and resolving conflicts relevant to their emphasis of study. 

             Demonstrate competency in the research and analysis and cooperative learning. The aim of conflict management is also to enhance learning and group outcome, including effective performance in an organizational setting.

               Students should be able analyze and understand the key practical and theoretical concept of managing and resolving conflict. It will also explain the importance of good Communication skills, analyze the gender, cultural difference, persuasion, perception and power in the conflict resolution.
