Having acknowledged this fact, it can rightly be said that the teachers are expected to shoulder a greater responsibility in fostering learning environment in order to transform the students into high achievers. Parents repose their full trust and confidence on the teachers and do hope that they will deliver their best and live up to their expectations. They avail the opportunity to meet the concerned teachers on parents-teachers day and seek details about the child’s academic progress, his strengths, and weaknesses, among other issues. So the parents-teachers day is of special significance, particularly when both have the child’s interest at heart.
