This course is designed to provide civil engineering undergraduates with a basic understanding
of the theory and practice of engineering surveying techniques. Students will apply the
knowledge gained from theoretical surveying to practice. Fieldworks covered in this manual
include chain surveying, plane table surveying, theodolite traverse surveying, leveling,
tachometer, curve setting, house setting, to name a few topics.
