This course will provide the students with basic understanding of the principles and concepts of accounting as well as their applicability and relevance in the national context and with the ability to apply these principles and concepts in the preparation of financial and related information to meet internal and external obligations.
The course is designed to explain the nature, purpose and scope of an audit and review of financial statements and assurance engagements, consider compliance with national laws and regulations in an audit and review, explain the professional ethics of a professional accountant and outline the position of an auditor.
This course exposes students to concepts, theories, and industry practice in real estate finance which is one of the largest and most important components of the financial system. It also introduces valuation and appraisal methods used for real estate finance and investment decision making. The primary goal of this course is to help students acquire the knowledge and develop the analytical skills of real estate finance, including the institutions and instruments used to finance residential and commercial real estate. It is particularly used to students who are interested in working the real estate development, brokerage, mortgage banking, and investment banking industries. The main topics covered in the course are mortgage products, mortgage banking, the secondary mortgage market, and mortgage-backed securities (MBS), financial leverage, and commercial real estate finance.
The “Lighting and Rendering Lab” course immerses students in the art and science of 3D visualization. Through hands-on experiments, participants explore 3-point lighting, render settings, environment setup, material preparation, and advanced techniques. By the end of the course, students gain proficiency in creating visually stunning 3D scenes.
