Free speech:

Free speech promotes the free flow of ideas essential to political

democracy and democratic institutions.


Hate speech:

Hate speech is usually thought to include communications of 

animosity or disparagement of an individual or a group on account

of a group characteristic such as race, color, national origin, 

sex, disability, religion, or sexual orientation.


Offensive speech:

In general, speech that offends can be defined as speech that "Causes

someone to feel resentful, upset, or annoyed"
