1.     Ans: Dual Boot:

    A dual boot is a computer system in which two Operating Systems are installed on the same hard-drive, allowing either operating system to be loaded and given control.


2.     Ans: Swap Area:

The swap area is the area on the hard-drive which is part of the virtual memory of the machine. It is the combination of accessible physical memory which we call RAM and the swap space. If the system needs more memory resources and the memory is full, the inactive parts of the memory are moves to the swap space.


3.     Ans: Mount point:

A mount point is a directory in a file system where additional information is logically connected from a storage location outside the operating system's root drive and partition.


4.     Ans: File system:

Every File has a logical location where they are located for storage and retrieval.

ext4 is a file system, which is used in Linux OS.

Two types of disk.

·        Basic.

·        Dynamic.
