1. McGregor further believed that self-implementation is the highest level of reward for employees.  He theorized that motivators to reach self-realization allow them to reach their full potential.

2.Theory X and Theory Y are theories of inspiration and management of human work.  .  The two theories proposed by McGregor describe models in contrast to the workforce motivation applied by managers in human resource management, organizational, behaviour,  organizational communication, and organizational development.  

a. Theory X explains the importance of high supervision, external rewards and penalties,  And 

 b.Theory Y highlights the motivational role of job satisfaction and encourages employees to come to work without direct supervision.  The use of Theory X and Theory Y can affect employee motivation and productivity.
