About global public health and gender theory:

Global health is the health of populations in the worldwide context; it has been defined as "the area of study, research and practice that places a priority on improving health and achieving equity in health for all people worldwide".

Gender theories open up new perspectives for how to understand women and men in their various contexts, including gendered structures and norms. An important aspect in developing teaching material on gender and health is the inclusion of various gender theories.

This established gender research and analysis enables us to examine and challenge social norms around what it means to be a woman or man in society, and to pursue justice and equality for all, which should be fundamental facets of development.

Gender is a social and cultural context which is determined  or structured by the community roller, traditional believe ect for the girls and boys .gender concept at microlevel deals with gendered lived experience in macro level deals with structural and political condition .This lesion also shows us Connell model of hegemonic masculinity that might serve as a tool also for public health researchers.
