Section 61-78 provides for Safety measures :
Section62 precaution in case of fire:evry establishment shall be provided such mean of escape including an alternative stair connected to every floor in case of firre and in every establishment the doors affording exir from any room shall not be locked or fastened so that they can be easily and immediately opened from inside.
Section63Fencing of Machinery :in every establishment there shall be securely fenced by the safeguards of substantial construction which shall be kept in a position while part of machinery required to be femced are in motion or in use.
Section63 work on machinery in motion:while a worker engaged such work shall not handle a belt at a moving pulley unless the belt is less than 15 centimetres in width.

Section71 pressure plant:where in every establishment machinery used in manufacturing process is operated at a pressure above atmosphere pressure effective measures shall be taken to ensure that the safe working pressure of such part is not exceed.
Section72 Pits, sumps,opening in floors etc
Section 74 Excessive Weights:no person shall be employed in factory to lift, carry or move any load so heavy as to be likely to cause him injury.
Section75 Protection of Eyes:The Government may require thay effective screens of suitable goggles shall be provided for the protection of persons employed in a process.
