Section 56:-
deals with the provision of protective clothing and equipment. Employers must provide suitable protective clothing and equipment to their workers if they are exposed to hazardous substances or situations.
Section 57:-
requires employers to take measures to prevent accidents in the workplace. This includes providing proper training and supervision, maintaining machinery and equipment in good working condition, and implementing safety measures to prevent accidents.
Section 58 deals with the handling and disposal of hazardous substances. Employers must ensure that all hazardous substances are handled and disposed of in a safe and proper manner.
Section 59:-
requires employers to provide rest facilities for their workers. This includes providing restrooms, rest areas, and other facilities to help workers take rest breaks during their shifts.
Finally, section 60:-
requires employers to take measures to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in the workplace. This includes providing information and education on the prevention of HIV/AIDS, promoting safe sex practices, and maintaining confidentiality of employees who are HIV-positive.
