The Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 ensure some special provision regarding health issues as well as safety for the employees under Chapter-V, VI, VII, VIII.

=> According to section (51-60) of chapter (V) it talks about hygiene.

=>  The provision to keep the workplace clean and safe state section 51 of the Labour Act 2006, In particular, it can be said that dirt is to be removed by sweeping the floor, workrooms, staircases, and passage of the establishment on daily basis.

=>  It has to do at least once a week and the white color–washing shall be carried out at least once in every fourteen months and the cleaning process dates entered in the prescribed register, section- 52 is provided: ventilation and temperature:

Rooms in the establishment should be adequately ventilated and workers should be kept at a healthy and comfortable temperature. In many cases, if the workplace is too cold or too hot, in that case, the organization should have a heating system in the extra cold place and a cooling system in the place.

=>  And Sections (51-60) says about cleanliness, ventilation, protection from dust and fum, waste disposition services, artificial humidification, central overcrowding provision of safe drinking water.

=>  In this chapter owner of any establishment ensures health and hygiene and if he can not ensure it then he will be punished by this code and if any employee violates the sections of this chapter he will also be punished.

=>  The Act requires employers to provide basic safety measures in Chapter VI under sections 61-78. These safety provisions are related to factories, mines, transports, electricity, and explosive precaution against fines and the safety of buildings and machinery. According to this code physical structure of the building should be safe.

And Chapter VII under sections 79 to 88 says in this chapter, the workers should be notified of such operations which are hazardous and also harmful to their health. In terms of women, workers are prohibited from working near machinery which is dangerous.

Section 80: When an accident happened in an establishment they have to inform to government, fire service, department of inspection of the factory police station, and if needed nearby hospital or non-government health service provided by any phone call or mobile call SMS or fax, an injured worker exceeding the period of 48 hours shell enter into describe registered.
