The international community is an imprecise phrase used in geopolitics and international relations to refer ta a board group of people and governments of the world. It was played a vital role the outcome of the conflict of Bangladesh liberation war. It had contributed in various ways.

1.The Indian government opened the East Pakistan–India border to allow the Bengali refugees to find safe shelter; the governments of West Bengal, Bihar, Assam, Meghalaya and Tripura established refugee camps along the border.Indira Gandhi stood by the side of the people of Bangladesh from the beginning of the Liberation War despite various adversities. She provided shelter to about one crore Bangladeshi refugees. She provided courage in the Liberation War by facing different diplomatic hurdles.

2.The Soviet Union had been a strong supporter of the Mukti Bahini during the Bangladesh Liberation War and provided extensive aid, recognising that Bangladesh's independence would weaken the position of its rivals  the United States and China.

3.The relationship between Bangladesh and the United Nations started during the initial stage of Bangladesh's liberation war in 1971. In March 1971, millions of people sought refuge in neighbouring India. In April, the government of India requested the United Nations to provide humanitarian assistance to the refugees and the United Nations and it accepted the proposal.

4.Media played a greater role in the liberation war of Bangladesh during 1971. A range number of newspapers, periodicals and journals were published highlighting Bangladesh War of Independence. But it was not an easy job. The entire country was under control by the Pakistan Military but they did it at high risk.

In the conclusion, the role of international communities during the liberation war of Bangladesh was significant. Without the help of international communities  Bangladesh would never had achieved the fate.
