The role of international communities during the liberation war of Bangladesh was significant role in the success of the liberation war. The international communities support to the people of Bangladesh during their struggle for independence. The United Nations played an active role in the liberation war, with the Security Council passing a resolution on November 29, 1971, calling for an immediate ceasefire of Pakistani forces from Bangladesh. The resolution was supported by several countries such as, the Soviet Union, China, and the United States, and was instrumental in putting pressure on Pakistan to end the conflict. India played an important role in the liberation struggle, providing military and diplomatic support to Bangladesh. Other countries also played an important role in the liberation struggle. The Soviet Union provided material support to Bangladesh. The United States, although initially supportive of Pakistan, eventually shifted its stance and played a key role in putting pressure on Pakistan to end the conflict. International organizations such as the Red Cross and various NGOs also provided humanitarian aid and support to the people of Bangladesh during the war. Overall, the role of international communities during the liberation war of Bangladesh was very important for our independence. Without the support of these communities, the struggle for independence may have been much more hard and difficult.
