Article-116(A),of the Constitution states, Subject to the provisions of this Constitution, the persons appointed to the Judicial Department and the Magistrates shall be independent in the administration of justice.Without specialized knowledge of the law, one cannot judge well.

CONCLUSION:

An independent judiciary is one of the main features of a democratic country.  It is the duty of judges to conduct fair proceedings and maintain impartiality. Judicial independence is absolutely necessary for effective and efficient officers of the courts. Despite the independence of the Judiciary, the Judiciary is now seen as beholden to the Ministry of Law. Because, if any problem arises in the judiciary, it is solved by the member of parliament.

In a one word, At present, even though the judiciary is independent, it is subordinate.
