One may think that how this Proclamation got international recognition. Actually, there is a provision in an international Treaty which says “All peoples have the right of self-determination. By virtue of that right they freely determine their political status and freely pursue their economic, social and cultural development.”(3) And how did the people of Bangladesh recognize the Proclamation?
