Administrative Tribunals in Bangladesh have been set-up to exercise jurisdiction in respect of matters relating to or arising out of the terms and conditions of service of persons in the service of the republic or of any statutory public authority as specified in the schedule to the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1980. At present there are seven Administrative Tribunals and one Administrative Appellate Tribunal in Bangladesh. The Appellate Tribunal is situated in Dhaka and of the seven tribunals three are in Dhaka, one each in Chittagong, Barisal, Khulna and Bogra.
