- Appreciate the subject matter of Labour law;
- Know the existing applicable Labour laws in Bangladesh.
Contents:
This module covers the preliminary concept of labour and industrial law. It looks at the historical development of this branch of law. It also attempts to present the necessity of studying this course for the law students.
Broadly, it will cover the following topics:
- Meaning and nature of labour law;
- Subject matter of labour law;
- Historical development of labour law;
- Labour laws of Bangladesh;
- Is Bangladesh labour Act Code;
- Importance of studying labour law;
- Principles of labour legislations.
