    Course Outline

    The aim of this course is to focus on tourism planning as a process and set of techniques for sustainable tourism development. It examines the physical environment of tourism planning and the social, cultural, and political realities of tourism planning and policy-making. Public and private sector roles are evaluated, as well as nature, parameters, and constraints attached to tourism development. The emphasis of this course will be on strategic regional and community–based tourism planning.

    ●     Exam Duration- 25 Minutes

    ●     Question will be open for 30 Minutes (max)

     Or

    ●     Exam Duration- 15 Minutes

    ●     Question will be open for 20 Minutes (max)

    Theory Questions

    10 Marks

    (2 questions × 5 =10)

    ●     Exam Duration- 1 hrs.

    ●     Question will be open for 1 hour and 30 Minutes (max)

    Case Study/ Analytic Questions/ Home based lab exam

    5 Marks

     

    ●     Exam Duration- 1 hrs.

    ●     Question will be open for 1 hour and 30 Minutes (max)

    ●     For home based lab exams, Teachers will be allocated as per requirements.
