How can we reduce those pollution from the Environment?
Reducing Pollution :
- Human activity is responsible for much of the world’s pollution
- Humans can also do much of the clean up and protection of the environment
- Governments are working to reduce and prevent pollution around the world
- Best way to make a difference: Three R’s reduce, reuse, recycle
- Reduce consumption on energy and other resources
- Reuse items by repairing, selling, or donating them
- Recycle materials that can be used again in another form
- Turn off the lights when not in use.
- No to plastic bags.
- Reduction of forest fires and smoking.
- Use of fans instead of Air Conditioner.
- Use filters for chimneys.
In these way we can reduce pollution :
1.Conserve energy - at home, at work, everywhere.
2.Look for the ENERGY STAR label when buying home or office equipment.
3.Carpool, use public transportation, bike, or walk whenever possible.
4.Follow gasoline refueling instructions for efficient vapor recovery, being careful not to spill fuel and always tightening your gas cap securely.
5.Consider purchasing portable gasoline containers labeled “spill-proof,” where available.
6.Refuel your car in the evening when its cooler.
7.Conserve electricity and set air conditioners no lower than 78 degrees.
8.Defer lawn and gardening chores that use gasoline-powered equipment, or wait until evening.
