The Bangladesh Labor Act, 2006 provides for leave and holidays for workers in the country.

Annual Leave: Under the Act, workers are entitled to 14 days of annual leave with full pay if they have completed one year of continuous service. Workers who have completed less than one year of service are entitled to leave on a pro-rata basis. Employers are required to provide leave to workers within 6 months of the end of the leave year.

Casual Leave: In addition to annual leave, workers are also entitled to 10 days of casual leave with full pay in a calendar year. Casual leave is designed to allow workers to take time off for personal reasons such as illness, family emergencies or personal matters.

Sick Leave: The Labor Act also provides for sick leave. Workers who have completed 6 months of continuous service are entitled to 14 days of sick leave with full pay in a calendar year. If a worker exhausts their sick leave entitlement, they may be granted additional leave without pay.

Public Holidays: The Act also provides for public holidays. Workers are entitled to 11 paid public holidays per year, including Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, and National Mourning Day.
