Following the submission of a written statement, a Settlement Conference is allowed under Section 22 of the Artha Rin Adalat Ain, 2003. The issue will be sent to the parties or their attorney for mediation by the court. A report with the signatures of the parties, pleaders, and mediator must be given to the court following the conclusion of the mediation process. The terms and circumstances of the report must be set down in writing in an agreement if the dispute is settled through mediation. The Court will then issue a decree based on the agreement.
