The Bangladeshi government passed the Bangladesh Labour Act 2006 in order to resolve labour disputes, promote industrial peace, and create a friendly and cooperative relationship between labour and capital through adjudication, conciliation, and mediation. The Act mentions a few adjudicatory and non-adjudicatory authorities. Bipartite negotiation, conciliation, and arbitration are examples of non-judicial processes, whereas the Labour Court, the Labour Appellate Tribunal, and other judicial bodies are examples of adjudicatory processes
