Positivism has a number of elements:

▶ Use of the scientific method to conduct research. The scientific method universal and culture-free.

▶ Predicting and explaining social phenomena in a logical manner. 

▶ The concepts as “God” and the “soul” cannot be measured through pure logic and therefore are not the subject of scientific inquiry; they remain a matter of faith.

▶ Science must be value-free and should not be influenced by any point of views.
