Enrico Ferris Criminals into five categories:

  2. Occasional.
  3. Passionate
  4. Insance.
  5. Habitual.
Garofalo Criminals into four categories:
  1. Endemic.
  2. Violent
  3. Criminals lacking in sentiment of probity.
  4. Lustful criminals
