Positivism has a number of elements:


• Use of the scientific method to conduct research. The scientific method universal and culture-free.


• Predicting and explaining social phenomena in a logical manner. 


• The concepts as “God” and the “soul” cannot be measured through pure logic and therefore are not the subject of scientific inquiry; they remain a matter of faith.


• Science must be value-free and should not be influenced by any point of views.
